The Celebrity Traitors returned with a moment that has quickly become a fan favorite, as Tom Daley made a memorable appearance in the shower. The 31-year-old Olympian and knitting enthusiast was seen topless during a cutaway scene from the traitorous tower, where the group of murderers plotted their next move.
Daley was captured in the act of scrubbing under the shower head in his private accommodation, far away from the Scottish castle. This scene was reminiscent of another famous shower moment from last season, when Freddie, who had switched sides from Faithful to Traitor, was caught in a similar situation.
Viewers at home were thrilled with this moment and took to social media to praise the BBC producers for understanding what their audience wants. One user on X, @awittywizard, wrote: “Celebrity Traitors serving Tom Daley in the shower? Okay that was not on my bingo card.”

This was a sneak peek at Daley’s abs before he was ultimately murdered in the dead of night by the celebrity Traitors. Ever the joker, he posted a humorous TikTok shortly after the scene aired on BBC One, poking fun at his own suspicions about Kate Garraway’s use of the word “flabbergasted.”
Wearing a floor-length fur coat and holding a wheelie suitcase, Daley said to the camera: “Well, I guess my flabbers were officially gasted,” before opening the coat to reveal his well-defined abs.
It was a dramatic episode overall, as Daley wasn’t the only one to meet an unfortunate end. While he was murdered, the group was busy at the roundtable, where two other Faithfuls were also banished and sent packing.
The unlucky pair voted out by the celebrities were YouTube prankster Niko Omilana and actress Tameka Empson. The Celebrity Traitors continues on Thursday on BBC One.
