Aboderin revealed that William Storey, a promoter licensed by the British and Irish Boxing Authority, extended the invitation to Ayanwale for this prestigious fight at the renowned venue located at 5 Old Ford Road, London E2 9PJ.
“Contracts have been signed, and we are pleased to see another Nigerian boxer getting international exposure,” Aboderin stated. “Odunayo has shown tremendous promise since turning professional last year, and this fight in the UK is a great opportunity for her to test herself against a foreign opponent.”
The NBBofC has been actively working to secure global platforms for Nigerian boxers, a mission highlighted by the upcoming Ayanwale fight. Dr. Rafiu Oladipo, President of the NBBofC, expressed his pride in the board’s dedication to this objective.
