The New CelcomDigi App Launches for All Customers
The new CelcomDigi app is now officially available to both Celcom and Digi customers. This marks a significant step in the integration of the two telcos, as the official rollout also signals the beginning of the phase-out of the existing Celcom Life and MyDigi apps. These will be fully discontinued by 31 December 2025.
The Genesis Behind the New CelcomDigi App
Although the merger between Celcom and Digi was completed in November 2022, it took time for all operations to align. Over the past three years, the newly unified company has worked on numerous post-merger tasks, including creating a single app that serves both Celcom and Digi customers.
According to the telco, the new CelcomDigi app is the final piece in its post-merger integration process. It has been designated as the “primary digital touchpoint” for over 20 million CelcomDigi customers.
What Can You Expect from the New CelcomDigi App?
CelcomDigi claims that the new app was developed based on insights from over 10 million customers. It underwent further refinement during a beta testing phase involving over 100,000 users.
One of the standout features of the app is the For You section, which offers personalized suggestions for deals and services tailored to each customer’s preferences and usage patterns. Additionally, users can look forward to weekly rewards through the 3-2-1 Surprise drops every Wednesday. Completing the Daily Streak 7-day challenge can unlock even more rewards.
The app also integrates a version of AI-RA, the digital human from CelcomDigi’s AI Experience Centre. This feature helps answer customer queries at any time, complementing the existing WhatsApp-based support, which operates only from 8 AM to 8 PM.
A dedicated Safety section is also included, offering safety tips and easy access to security-oriented services such as MobileShield and PrivateSIM. As with any telco app, users can manage bill payments, check account information, track data usage, and purchase add-on passes through the new CelcomDigi app.
CelcomDigi App Launch Deals
To celebrate the launch of the new CelcomDigi app, the telco has introduced several promotional deals for users:
- 100GB high-speed data for 24 hours: RM1 – available for the first 1 million purchases until 26 October.
- Disney+ Basic: RM12.90 per month.
- Disney+ Premium: RM27.90 per month.
- Viu: RM3.90 per month.
Postpaid customers can also enjoy free roaming or IDD calls in selected countries for 12 months. The new CelcomDigi app is currently available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The Huawei AppGallery version is still under development.
