Lisa Armstrong, a well-known makeup artist, has once again put her former marital home up for sale, this time at a price of £3.4 million. The property, which she used to share with her ex-husband Ant McPartlin, is located in an exclusive area of Chiswick, west London. Despite the financial loss, friends say that Lisa is eager to move on from the house, as it has become a painful reminder of her past.
Before the fire that ravaged the house in September 2023, the five-bedroom property was valued between £7 and £8 million. However, the damage caused by the fire has significantly reduced its value. Initially, Lisa listed the house for £4 million in May 2024, but later took it off the market after reducing the asking price by £250,000 in January. Now, the house is back on the market, but potential buyers will need to be prepared for some restoration work, as many rooms still show signs of the fire damage.
A close friend shared insights about Lisa’s decision: “Lisa just wants to get rid of it now. Apart from her dog Hurley, the house is the only thing linking her to Ant, and she feels it’s time to let go, even though it means taking a financial hit.”
The friend added that Lisa had grown frustrated with low-ball offers and people who were more interested in looking around the property than actually buying it. “She had loads of derisory offers, some of them were actually quite insulting, and many people were simply put off by the fire damage,” they said.
Despite these challenges, Lisa is confident that the house will sell at a price she considers fair. She believes that the location makes the property attractive, even with the damage. “Some houses in the same street are going for big money, so it’s still an attractive property to purchase,” the friend explained.

A Tragic Incident
Lisa had rented out the house to a family of six, and their nanny was the first to spot smoke coming from the first-floor bedroom. At the time, the only people in the house were the nanny and the cleaner. The blaze is believed to have been electrical. Lisa told the Daily Mail that no one was injured, but residents reported that a pet cat belonging to the family renting the property lost its life.
Background on the Property
Lisa was awarded the house as part of her £31 million divorce deal from Ant in 2020. She later purchased a property nearby where she currently resides. The couple, who split in 2018, originally bought the house for £2.3 million in 2006.
Ant went on to marry his former personal assistant, Anne-Marie Corbett, in 2021. The couple welcomed their first child, son Wilder Patrick McPartlin, in May of last year.
