New EV Charging Station Launch at Nasi Lemak Burung Hantu in Sri Hartamas
A new addition to the growing network of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations has been unveiled in Sri Hartamas. This latest installation, brought to life through a collaboration between JomCharge and DBKL, is located at Nasi Lemak Burung Hantu. The site features four perpendicular EV bays that offer both AC and DC charging options, making it a convenient spot for EV owners.
Features of the New Charging Station
The Nasi Lemak Burung Hantu Sri Hartamas location is equipped with a 75kW Kempower DC charger, which includes two CCS2 ports. Additionally, there is a 20kW ABB Terra DC Charger with a single CCS2 nozzle. For those preferring AC charging, there is an extra AC charge point capable of delivering up to 11kW. However, it’s important to note that EVs with single-phase onboard chargers (up to 7kW) can only receive up to 3kW from this AC charge point. At the time of writing, the AC charge point is not yet active but is expected to be operational by the weekend.
Pricing and Membership Benefits
In terms of pricing, the DC charger is set at RM1.40 per kWh, while the AC charge point is priced at RM1.10 per kWh. JomCharge Elite members are eligible for a 10% discount on these rates. This makes the station an attractive option for both regular and occasional EV users.
Special Offers for the Opening Week
To celebrate the launch of the new EV charger, JomCharge is offering a 50% discount on charging fees this Saturday, 11th October 2025, at the location. In addition, users of the JomCharge app can redeem a free Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah meal at Nasi Lemak Burung Hantu Sri Hartamas. This offer is limited to the first 40 participants only.
