The Academy Award-winning actor, aged 55, made a casual appearance at Pipi’s, a popular seafood restaurant in Coolangatta. He was joined by a fellow Australian music sensation, the renowned hitmaker DJ Fisher, aged 39.
A snapshot from their enjoyable afternoon was shared on Pipi’s official Instagram page, capturing the moment the two celebrities posed alongside John Gambaro. Mr. Gambaro, the managing director of the Gambaro Group, which owns the establishment, was also present for the occasion.
Damon opted for a relaxed yet stylish ensemble for his outing. He was seen sporting a crisp white T-shirt layered beneath a light pink collared shirt, which he wore unbuttoned. Completing his summery look, he paired the shirts with a pair of shorts in a complementary hue, cut to just above the knee.
DJ Fisher also embraced a laid-back, summery vibe. He donned a pink and white striped shirt, similarly left open to reveal a hint of his chest. His attire was rounded off with a pair of brown chinos and large tinted sunglasses, adding a touch of cool to his look.

Damon readily admitted his enthusiasm for the annual event, stating, “I’ve been a few years in a row to the Ekka. I don’t know if I’m gonna make it this year, though, because I have to come back to America.”
He then took the opportunity to explain the Ekka to his co-star Casey Affleck, who appeared to be unfamiliar with the renowned Queensland event. “It’s awesome. I gotta bring him [Casey] to the Ekka,” Damon enthused.
The Bourne Identity star further elaborated on his Ekka experiences, revealing his role as the designated thrill-seeker on the rides, much to the amusement of his family. “My kids love it because they force me to go on all those terrifying rides and, you know, their mum refuses to go,” he shared with a chuckle. “So I draw the short straw. They like watching me get whipped around on those things.”
